John Whiltshire fished the Merri River at Warnambool for a bream of 34cm.
John’s brother-in-law had better results with 5 bream caught on shrimp.
John also reports that Malmsbury Reservoir and Barkers Creek Reservoir at Harcourt are full of water and looking good.
Laurie Benbow stayed at Warnambool for a week, with wife Maureen.
Fishing the Hopkins River, reports that the water was dirty, with a lot of slime that made fishing difficult.
After 2 days fishing for 1 undersized bream on a soft plastic and one undersized bream on a hardbody, they gave it away.
Went across to Port Fairy and reported that the water looked very fishable in small craft, even in windy weather.
They also checked out Port Campbell, and noted the steepest boat ramp they have ever seen!
